About Kennestone Periodontics
Kennestone Periodontics is a dental implant in Marietta, Georgia. It is listed at 611 Campbell Hill St NW #102, Marietta, GA 30060, which places it among the local businesses of Marietta that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 amβ4 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Kennestone Periodontics at (770) 422-0642; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, kennestoneperiodontics.com.
Its Google rating is 4.0 out of 5 from 21 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Marietta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Marietta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This is not a review of Dr. Silverstein because after driving 19.5 miles in horrific traffic and sitting in the waiting room for 30 minutes I was not extended the courtesy of face to face meeting with the doctor. However as a 20 year retired military veteran it has been my experience that the troops/staff are a reflection of their leader. This is a review of my experience with Dr. Silversteinβs staff. On April 22, 2024, I scheduled an appointment for an exam and periodontal cleaning for May 23, 2024 @ 12:45pm. I also requested and received confirmation that my dental / periodontal records from St. Louis, Missouri and Benchmark Dental had been received by Dr. Silversteinβ office. These records combined documented the periodontal treatments I have received from 2021 through April 2024. None of these records document the need for premedication prior periodontal cleanings. In addition, there was no mention of a Kennestone Periodontics Primary Care Provider (PCP) release requirement for periodontal exams, cleanings or other services in the 4/22/2024 appointment confirmation email, the USPS postal card reminder that I received on 5/20/2024 or the 9 appointment reminder text mess

I just had my periodontal deep cleaning with Dr. S. I arrives at the office 15mins early was cheerfully greeted by the lovely front desk attendant. The office was bright, clean and inviting. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of soap and paper towels. I was checked in by a nurse who was very friendly and attentive, and escorted me to the back for my procedure. She provided me with the procedural steps as she numbs my gum and the surrounding tissue. Dr. S arrived, he was friendly and professional, explained what he was going to do. From start to finish, it took Dr. S around 30mins to do my left side top and bottom.

Everything was fine except for the front desk staff. Rude and unprofessional. They sent me to the wrong location and said I didnβt read the email carefully. Seriously? I had a proof that their email was wrong! They never accepted that they made mistakes. I had to reschedule. Also, they quoted me for $2,xxx amount after insurance. Ok, Iβm fine to pay. Later on, sent me a collection letter. I visited the office immediately. They said I owned nothing. One year later, they tried to collect $2xx plus interest (during that year, I visited the office regularly, they never talked about that bill.). I told them that it might be a mistake because I asked the office first time when I got the letter. They said βoh, you asked the wrong office. Weβre under the same name but different LLC.β How am I supposed to know? (Again, I never asked to change the location. They sent me there because my regular location is under renovation.) Same doctor, same name. I refused to pay and left. A month later, that collection amount go from $2xx to $2xxx! LIKE SERIOUSLY? What is that came from! Are you calling yourself a business? With significantly inaccurate estimates, never accept mistakes, rude and unprofess

Staff has always been sincere and respectful. Trish was a receptionist for many years and truely was the personality of the Campbell Hill office. Her replacements are kind, though. Dr Lee Silverstein is perfection at the top! Fabulous person with the ability to make each patient there a number one most important person. Kindness beyond. Takes the time to be able to βchatβ with one before he moves on to the next patient-terribly important. He and his staff have the strength of bulls and with lifeβs interruptions they all pull through together and continue to be the best periodontal office to come to. Hygienist, receptionist and Dr Leeβ¦ donβt change. You all are the reason I stay with you! Kindly, Lynne A Ratcliffe

From making the appointment with Carey to meeting Bridgette at the front desk when I went in for my 1st visit I knew I was off to a great start. I have found nothing but professionalism and skilled individuals. This is a beautiful and very, very clean facility. So far, I have had a deep cleaning done with Selena and I felt as though I was having a cleaning performed by an angel! I always have anxiety when I go to the dentist and she was understanding and the cleaning was very thorough, a true professional. I would definitely suggest anyone to come here. Those stars are not an exaggeration! I highly recommend Kennestone Periodontics

Dr. Silverstein: I had to cancel my surgery last week (which was scheduled over 4 months ago with your practice) because I've been quoted so many different amounts for my pre-authorization estimates from your practice who can't seem to figure out my dual insurance coverage so I left three different messages for you to call me back since I've been given amounts ranging from $0 out of pocket to $5000. However, you haven't bothered to return any of these messages or address my concerns since my request for a return phone call last Monday (almost 2 weeks ago). I'm now glad that I didn't trust your practice with this surgery and that I questioned what I was originally told by your office staff as far as costs. Terrible service.

I was very pleased with the cleanliness and friendly atmosphere that Dr. Silverstein and his staff provided. I have been getting cleanings with them for several years and continue to come back because of the warm, professional, modern, and punctual environment they provide. My experiences have been nothing short of phenomenal and they always exceed my expectations. I plan to continue to be a patient for years to come!
